Bruce Narramore, Ph.D., president of the Narramore Christian Foundation, is a well known Christian psychologist and author of nine books including Help! I'm a Parent, and co-author of The Integration of Psychology and Theology. Dr. Narramore lectures on parenting, the integration of psychology and Christianity, and techniques of counseling throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Bruce was the founding Dean of the Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University, where he is Distinguished Professor of Psychology. He is past President of the Western Association of Christians for Psychological Studies, and a Fellow of the Divisions of Clinical Psychology and Psychologists Interested in Religious Issues of the American Psychological Association.
He has served as a Visiting Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University and as a member of the Accreditation Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Bruce and Kathy, his wife, live in Hacienda Heights, California, and are the parents of two children and the proud grandparents of two grandsons and two granddaughters.
Dr. Clyde and Mrs. Ruth Narramore (Retired) founded the Narramore Christian Foundation in the early 1950s. Both received their graduate degrees from Columbia University. Dr. Clyde is a licensed psychologist, a nationally known speaker, author, and pioneer in the field of Christian psychology. His radio Broadcast, Psychology For Living, was aired nationally for many years.
He is the author of 27 books and more than 50 booklets on topics dealing with everyday problems. He was the founding president of the Rosemead School of Psychology. Mrs. Ruth Narramore was raised during her early years in China where her parents were missionaries. She, too, is a writer and speaker, as well as a professional musician.
