Quite often individuals and couples who need most of their current financial resources for their personal and family support are able to make sizable contributions to Christian ministries through deferred giving and careful estate planning.
By minimizing current or estate taxes, resources that would otherwise go to the government can be designated to the Lord's work. Many people are also able to increase their current income while making provision to support NCF or other Christian ministries.
This can be accomplished through one or more of the following ways:
Annuities
Gifts of Stocks, Real Estate, or Personal Property
Endowments
Wills and Trusts
Estate Planning
Annuities
In our current economy, bank savings accounts and certificates of deposits are only paying between one and four percent annually. If you are 55 or older, an NCF annuity can provide you an annual return between 6% and 11.5% for as long as you live. You will also receive a tax deduction for a portion of your NCF gift annuity. A gift annuity is a wonderful way to ensure regular income for your lifetime while also supporting the Lord's work.

Gifts of Real Estate, Stocks, or Personal Property
If you have stocks, real estate, or other properties that have appreciated in value, you may be able to make a significant gift to NCF's ministries and receive favorable tax advantages. Real estate and stocks, for example, can be deeded to NCF free of any income tax on the appreciation.

Endowments
If you would like to invest at least $10,000 in NCF's ministries, you can establish an endowment fund which can be added to over the years. NCF will invest the full amount of your contribution and use the income to support NCF's vital ministries for years to come. You can establish an endowment for NCF's ministries to pastors and missionaries and their families; NCF's literature and website outreaches; or for the training of Christian psychologists and counselors.

Wills and Trusts
If you need the income or use of certain resources during your lifetime, but would then like them (or a portion of them) to go to support the Lord's work, you can accomplish that through a will or a trust.
Wills: To remember NCF in your will: Tell your attorney the specific asset or amount or percentage of your estate that you would like to go to support NCF's ministries and provide him the following information: The Narramore Christian Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization located at 250 West Colorado Blvd., Arcadia, CA 91007.
If you would like additional assistance or would like to let Dr. Narramore know that you are remembering NCF in your will, you can contact Ms. Mary Manthorne, assistant to Dr. Narramore at 626-821-8400 Ex 227, or CLICK HERE to forward a message.
Trusts: One of the most effective estate planning tools today is a Trust. NCF's financial planning consultant is available to talk with you about various types of trusts (revocable and irrevocable) to see if one might meet your financial planning needs.
